Ok, vi avverto che questo non sarà un post particolarmente profondo. Ma diamine, 24$ per un taglio di capelli mi sembra un argomento abbastanza interessante. 24 dollari! Taglio 14 dollari, sistemata al pizzetto 6 dollari, mancia 4 dollari. E non sono particolarmente esigente in fatto di capelli. Rasatura uniforme della testa delle basette e del pizzetto. Tempo totale 7 minuti, prodotti usati 0, elettricità usata 5 minuti di rasoio elettrico = 24 dollari! AHHHH!!
E poi la mancia?!?!
Io sono un sostenitore della mancia per i camerieri. Mi piace avere le cose divise, da una parte paghi il cibo, dall'altra il servizio. In questo modo capita raramente di essere trattato male dai camerieri. Ma dal parrucchiere è già il servizio! La mancia per cosa è?

E io che avevo pensato: stando via solo 4 mesi non mi conviene comprare la macchinetta per tagliarmi i capelli... Per ora sono in pari, spero di non aver bisogno di un altro giro dal parrucchiere.

Ok, this is not going to be a very deep post. Bur for god's sake! 24$ for having my hair done seems quite an interesting subject to me! 24 dollars! hair 14$, goatee trimming 6$, tip 4$. It is not that I am particularly demanding when it comes to my hair. Uniform clipping of hair, sideburns and beard. Needed time 7 minutes and no need for shampoo, shaving cream, grease or whatever.
And the tip?!?!
I like tipping waiters. I like the idea of keeping things separated, one thing is the food and another other the service. And I think it works, rude waiters are rare.
But having your hair done is already a service! what's the tip for?

I thought I would have been cheaper to go to the barber shop than buying an hair clipper... I may have been wrong. Right now I am even, I only hope I won't need another visit to the barber shop.

Mi ha raccontato una cosa molto interessante su Singapore. I singaporeani, quando sono ricchi, pagano il 6% di tasse! No, non ho dimenticato uno 0. E' proprio il SEI per cento di tasse. gaaaaaahhh

Here at UoM I got a cubicle-mate from Singapore. His name is Paw. He says that he doesn't like the west coast because it is full of immigrants... but the interesting part is that he told me that in Singapore the pay 6% of what they make for taxes. That's right, I didn't forget a 0. It is SIX percent. Gaaaaaaahhhh
